Android: why do I see a "Network Connection Problem" message?

TRACE Play for Android requires a stable Wi-Fi, 3G, or 4G connection in order to stream videos to your device. In order to improve your experience, you can try reducing the video’s quality. To do so, after starting playing the video, tap the “HD” icon in the lower right corner of the screen. Select the Video Quality option. In the window that pops up, select a lower definition. Please note that this setting is not saved, so you may need to repeat it for every video you play.


To find out if your connection is too slow for video playback, please try testing your connection speed using the Speedtest.net application or website. If your connection speed is below 1Mbps (about 1000 Kbps), a smooth playback experience may not be possible.


In some cases, your Internet connection is fast, but you may still experience problems with TRACE Play. This may indicate an issue specific to your Android phone or tablet.
